Christmas in Humboldt is magical!
Humboldt has a rich tradition of drawing people from near and far to see our attractions.
Lighted Christmas Parade
Sumner Avenue, Downtown Humboldt
Santa officially arrives in Humboldt the Saturday before Thanksgiving during the Lighted Christmas Parade in downtown Humboldt! Santa goes to Christmasland to listen to children's Christmas lists after the parade.
This is also in conjunction with a few other holiday activities like a tree lighting ceremony, caroling, and soup with Santa at the VFW after the parade. It might be chilly, but it's still magical.
Located around the corner from City Hall at 407 1st Avenue South (follow the signs).
Christmasland is the place to give your list to Santa. Stroll through the building to see the winter scenes, culminating in a visit with Santa. Christmasland has been a tradition in Humboldt since 1982, and well worth a visit! Contact City Hall for this year's hours. Admission is free, but free-will donations are appreciated.
202 2nd Street South, Dakota City
