The City of Humboldt, Iowa (4,792) is seeking a dependable Street Maintenance Worker to maintain City streets, sidewalks, and storm water system. This position works under the direction of the Street Superintendent to perform a variety of tasks including snow removal, operation of heavy equipment, street patching, fleet maintenance, curb and gutter repair to ensure the good condition of City streets and right-of-way. Candidate must have graduated from high school or equivalent and possess (or have the ability to possess) a valid Iowa Commercial Driver’s License. The work schedule consists of regular weekday hours with occasional evening or weekend responsibilities at the discretion of the Street Superintendent. Position is full-time (40 hours per week) with excellent pay and benefits.
