Easter Egg Hunt is April 4 at Humboldt High School gym
The Humboldt-Dakota City Kiwanis Club will be hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt for candy and prizes on Saturday, April 4, at 10 a.m. at the Humboldt High School gym (a location change due to the inclement weather).
There will be categories for three age groups, pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and first grade and second and third grade. There will be large Easter baskets and bicycles awarded to a winner in each category. There will be 275 prizes for each category. An appearance by the Easter bunny for photos is also expected. Following the event, children and their parents can claim some of the prizes at the concession stand in the high school commons. Other gifts will be available at selected businesses. Parents are asked to bring grocery sacks or plastic pails for candy.
The Kiwanis Club puts on this fun activity for children as a community service and thanks the local merchants and members of the business community for their support.
