Humboldt is a small community at its best!
The City of Humboldt is a great place to live! It is a clean, safe town with wide streets, a dozen parks, walking trails, and many other amenities for citizens to enjoy. Due to its progressive, pro-development attitude, the city is still growing after 150 years. According to the Census, Humboldt has grown by more than 5% over the last 10 years. Humboldt provides exceptional opportunities for families and businesses alike. With a dozen major employers right in town, residents have a diverse set of employment options in the community. Additionally, the Humboldt Community School District is first class and continues to be a strong pull for new families to the area.
Community Calendar
Individuals, groups, families of all ages are welcome to join us at the Humboldt County Court House lawn in Dakota City to read the bible aloud from Genesis to Revelations on Thursday, July 4th, 2024 from 8:00 AM to Noon.
Humboldt Community Schools will be doing a facility tour. Please RSVP with Rhiannon Lange at rlange@humboldt.k12.ia.us or 515-332-1330.
